History

The Las Vegas Senior Softball Association, Inc. is a relatively new organization.  It was formed on February 17, 2000 and has grown rapidly.  Currently there are over 300 active members.

LVSSA is incorporated in the state of Nevada as a nonprofit corporation.  It has been granted a tax exemption by the Internal Revenue Service under section 501 (c) (4) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Its predecessor was the Las Vegas Senior Silver Rebels Softball Club, Inc., which was incorporated on April 17, 1987.  The initial directors were Guy Casey, Jr., Jay Cave, Harold Clement, Joseph Rowan, Benjamin Spies, and Earl Zabal.
